I was looking at this earlier in the year, it looks really good, if not a little demanding!

Would be interested if there was enough interest by everyone else..

That's why I'd be happy to be the point of contact for getting this together and that I'm asking so early! To give loads of notice :)

That's not unlike a route I produced for Abarthisti a few years ago - severely pruned from the wildly optimistic first efforts others had made. That trip failed when I asked people to commit with deposits for hotels, sadly (and as luck would have it, it snowed at the time we were going to go, late May, and the passes were re-closed for a few days!).

I used to work in Switzerland, so I spent many a weekend on some of those passes and I can tell you that they are all stunning. There's going to be a lot of driving every day to pack all that lot into 6 days, but let me tell anyone in any doubt, if you go, you won't regret it.

Can I just get a moderator on here to confirm that me being the point of contact for this trip is okay as my post has been shelved over on abarthisti!

Just to clarify, I'm trying only to get a great trip going for the club and I'm happy to do the leg work to make it happen, I'm not however the organiser or event provider for this, nor am I associated with the company in any way

Any more interested so far anyway lol??

Maccy - absolutely fine that you be the point of contact on this.

Please keep going with trying to make this happen. You have my support for the initiative (not sure if I can join the trip, though it does sound good!).

One more seriously interested here. Man maths at work - 150 per day to include hotel, breakfast & the other mentioned inclusives sounds almost cheap!  The ultimate road trip with other like minded petrol heads. Presume there are loads of other car marques going as well. Always wanted to do the Stelvio from years ago - now no more excuses!

They will run an exclusive abarth one but would need around 15-20 cars.

Thanks for the clarification mods, abarthhisti - coming from many other forums they are 'unique' :-/

It will be 300 deposit but again, this isn't confirmed. I'll keep everyone updated. There won't be any real progress on this til aug time this year :)
