Ok guys and gals

So, I've spoken with nurburgringuk (event company) today and I have some more info (well bits)

It is very very likely to be the 1st week of July 2016
To support us (and me) in getting this together they are happy to take the deposits in two parts so, what I propose is the following-

100 in PER PERSON by 1st august 2015
Then the extra 200 per person in by 1st November 2015
(This then completes the 300 per person deposit requirement)
The final balance of 599 per person (two in car) and 899 (single person per car) is to be paid around May time 2016

I'm not a rich man so although I'm more than happy to do all the leg work as the organiser/deposit collector etc. please don't leave me to pay up if you change your mind! I can't afford it!

How does this sound?

(Mods, can this thread be made a bold one that stays on the front page of the meets/events section to save finding it and to drive interest?)

Ok so after a pm and me feeling silly now I've misunderstood the costs from the start on this even tho it does state it correctly on the 1st post

The 899 is PER PERSON based on 2 people in one car
The 1199 is a SINGLE PERSON in a car

This changes things, I'm sorry for confusion. The do offer other trips, if the feeling is that this is a little expensive then I can look into other options they have, they do accommodate some 'custom trips too'

There is also a nurburgring organised tour which includes karting ring pass (4 laps) and other stuff. This is a 4 day tour priced at 449 PER PERSON for two in one car or 699 SINGLE PERSON

Sounds good but has to calculate money wise, time off ect. That would be trip of the dream, especially traveling through all those countries.
I will let you know

Please keep all feedback coming in if those interested want to do the alpine run or a long weekend to the nurburgring? I might switch this to a poll if I figure out how!

I would go 100% but all depending if my work will give me some time off as have to leave some time off for soewhere else.
I wouldn't have money at the moment to give as deposit contribution, it would be more likely around Oct-Nov

The Alpine passes are only open from mid May until the first snows of winter, which can come as early as the beginning of October.
