Wire open monza exhaust?
« on: June 16, 2018, 09:04:23 AM »
Iím thinking of wire opening my monza exhaust. Has anyone done this and what difference does it make for noise or performance. Is it worth doing it ?

It makes it louder all the time. I've been told you lose a bit of torque lower down the rev range because of the reduced back pressure but I didn't notice any difference.
They're prone to seizing so that's a good enough reason to wire it open as you don't want it stuck in the closed position.
