Hi all, I recently bought a 2017, 595 Competizone. It has just over 8k on the clock and sounds epic with the stock Monza exhaust.

I have moved from a BMW Z4 3ltr which was a great ride for the nine years I owned it. However the girlfriend recently bought a 500s, which introduced me to the 595

In terms of mods I've added the armrest, I next need to source a steering wheel extension, as the driving position isn't the best, in fact its pretty poor.  I wont be jumping into engine mods just yet due a few years left on the warranty.

I'm sure its a question asked a million times, but out of interest how do find the driving position? I just feel if the seat was an inch or two lower and you could adjust the column length of the steering wheel, then the 595 would be a more complete car.

Make sure you fit some VERY GOOD security to that.
The number of Abarth's being stolen in the West Midlands is unbelievable - there have been so many reported on this & other forums it's beyond belief.

Hi Ranski ,Welcome to the AOC,. West Midlands lad here too ( a youngster at 59..lol  )
A good looking car you have there,  As per the comments from 137699 , make sure the car is well secured,  a severe amount of Abarths have been targeted in and around the West Midlands area. ( cars being taken without keys too )
Regarding the driving position , I have a 695 XSR and dont have any issues .
Have lots of fun and enjoy the car, hope to see you at some events before the year ends.

Driving position is awful. I can never get it right, if I want to heel and toe I have to push myself back so my legs have room to move but then I'm too far from the wheel and the handling feels off and to fix it I have to move the seat closer or lift the back forwards so I end up sitting kinda bolt up right. So yeah I feel your pain.

That said, the car is the most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels and I've had a good number of cars like Lotus etc to compare it to, the engine is just fantastic and engines with a Garrett turbo as standard can easily hit 205 bhp all from a 1.4.

Hi all, thanks for the feedback.

I picked up a disklock (small) yesterday due to heightened paranoia levels from the amount of Abarths stolen in recent months. Its also booked into get a Ghost Immobilizer fitted in a few weeks time.

In terms of the driving position I am going to order Steering wheel extender, I am 6"2 and either my knees catch the steering wheel if i bring the sear in, or my arms are at full stretch if i bring the seat out.

Thanks again

Richard, check out the Ghost for compatibility,. `i`ve hear reports that they aren`t suitable for Abarth cars.
